Computer Use and Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi and computer access are available at Fruitport District Library. Computers have Microsoft Office installed, as well as internet and printer access.
For computer use, please sign in and out at the circulation desk. You are guaranteed one hour on the computer. After that, if someone is waiting, you may be asked to log off. If you need any assistance with the computer or the printer, please let staff know. Computers are powered down five minutes before closing.
Printing Services
Printing, Copying, and Faxing are all available at the library:
- $0.10 per side black and white
- $0.25 per side color
- $0.25 per page to send or receive a fax. Library provided cover pages may be faxed for free.
If you need any assistance with the computer or the printer, please let staff know. If a patron has multiple items and/or there are other patrons in the library needing assistance, non-circulation services take a lesser priority.
WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The Copyright Law of 1976 (United States Code, Title 17) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction [including that made by electronic transmission of reserve material] for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
